Morris Adjmi-Designed Condominium NX obtains 50% of the contract

Largo, the New York and Miami-based real estate investment and development company, today announced that its new Brooklyn condominium, NX at 215 North 10and Street, is more than 50% under contract. A milestone for the building, the first homes available in NX hit the market less than three months ago. Now, with half of the apartments already under contract, the condominium is showing an unprecedented sales velocity that illustrates both the resounding return of the luxury market in New York as well as the continued demand for homes carefully designed and reflecting buyers today.

Located at 215 North 10and Street in the heart of Williamsburg, NX features a collection of 31 luxury residences with interiors and exteriors by renowned architect Morris Adjmi, whose design combines the charm of Williamsburg’s townhouses with the history and patina of the warehouses of the region. A buff brick facade is paired with black steel as a nod to the neighborhood’s industrial past. The site is one of the last remaining major development parcels in Williamsburg, and the successful condominium is the cornerstone of the area’s transformation.

Adjmi’s design incorporates a contemporary aesthetic into every home, using strong modernist elements and natural materials that create functional and comfortable environments. Flexible layouts to suit today’s current lifestyle are complemented by a luxurious collection of amenities designed to foster connection with your neighbour.

“With over a decade of experience in Williamsburg, we have an intimate understanding of what residents of this neighborhood find most valuable in a home,” says Nick Werner, co-founder of Largo. “With abundant indoor-outdoor space, flexible layouts that can be used as home offices or nurseries, and smart fitness facilities, all in a sophisticated and thoughtfully designed building, we believe NX offers something very special. exciting for anyone looking to buy a home. It’s clear from the speed of sales that buyers agree. As the building nears completion, we are confident it will continue to generate significant interest within and outside the Williamsburg community.

NX homes are designed to bring the outdoors in, with most residences featuring private decks. Versatile layouts allow residents to customize their home and meet their lifestyle needs. Six-inch-wide, European center-cut oak floors and black-clad windows soaring to ten-foot ceilings create a contemporary canvas, with interiors flooded with light. Kitchens feature custom Italian cabinetry and hardware with Italian Volakas marble countertops and backsplashes. Custom-designed anthracite plumbing fixtures by Morris Adjmi are complemented by Bosch and Miele fixtures. Gracefully sized bathrooms offer a spa-like retreat and feature monolithic European tiles and custom Morris Adjmi anthracite fixtures. Some residence halls have been outfitted with unique features, such as dining areas, separate home offices, nurseries, pantries, and changing rooms. As the remote workforce continues to grow in number, the flexible layouts inherent in many homes have been designed to accommodate the perfect work-from-home setup.

A collection of seven perfectly composed Penthouse Residences crowns the top of the building. Each features an innovative and flexible layout anchored by floor-to-ceiling windows that frame expansive views of Brooklyn and the iconic New York skyline. Most of these homes have also been fitted with a spacious private terrace intended to seamlessly integrate indoor and outdoor living.

“As buyers today continue to spend more time at home, from remote work to cooking and dining, it is especially imperative to offer residences that allow for a fluid and flexible lifestyle,” said Sarah Patton, Development Director at Compass. “NX and its design reflect Largo and Morris Admi’s commitment to this, as well as an elevated traditional New York living experience. This provided a huge resonating point among buyers today, proving that sales momentum and buyer intrigue can indeed be sparked when the proper attention and care is given to a project.

NX amenities are highlighted by the sunroof, which serves as the social heartbeat and gathering space for the building. The massive nearly 7,000 square foot space has been cleverly divided to create separate areas for relaxation, entertainment, and games, all against the backdrop of sweeping views of Brooklyn and Manhattan. A full-size shuffleboard court runs along the south side of the roof, while an outdoor kitchen features grills and everything NX residents need to host their social gatherings. Communal tables adjacent to the shade of umbrellas and bar seating provide the necessary space for dinners and cocktails. The sunroof also includes a grassy lawn with lounge chairs, ideal for sunbathing, reading or spending some quiet time enjoying the fresh air. Fully landscaped, the rooftop’s colorful flowers, boxwood hedges and tree-lined balustrades create the perfect urban respite.

Much more than a rack of weights and a row of cardio machines, the fitness center at NX offers a 21st century-long fitness experience with premium, state-of-the-art equipment that gives residents access to live classes, scheduled routines, success tracking, and a network of other fitness enthusiasts.

The Lobby was designed as an inviting space ideal for working, meeting and relaxing. Custom Menu Design Shop seating provides space to spread out and is complemented by high-speed Wi-Fi to enable a remote working environment for residents seeking greenery and a change of scenery. The foyer and packing room provide convenience and security, while an air-conditioned storage room with dedicated space for each residence makes it easy to keep items close at hand without having to be in the lead. The ultimate convenience for the growing number of New Yorkers who have chosen to purchase a vehicle in recent years, NX also comes equipped with an on-site parking garage.

NX residences range from studios to three bedrooms, with only 15 homes currently remaining. Pricing for the remaining available studios starts at $740,000; a room at $930,000; two bedrooms at $1.825M and three bedrooms at $2.850M.
